We are delighted that former England Cricket Head Physiotherapist, Kirk Russell, is able to run a physiotherapy clinic at KES in the medical centre on some weekdays before school or during the school day by mutual agreement. He is available to see pupils after school or on Saturday mornings by prior arrangement. This clinic has been set up to enable pupils to have easier access to excellent physiotherapy support, reduce travel time and make the process easier for parents.
Kirk has worked as a chartered physiotherapist for over 20 years, predominantly in elite sport, including nine years as Head Physiotherapist for the England Cricket Team, where he became the first England physiotherapist to achieve over 100 test matches. Kirk has also been lucky to work in a number of other sports at the elite level, including for Tottenham Hotspur FC, Northampton Saints Rugby and at the London Olympics in 2012. Whilst Kirk has extensive experience in elite sports, he has also worked as the Clinical Lead Physiotherapist for the Spire rehabilitation unit in Cambridge.
